The Tile
The Tile is a covering material par excellence. It is able to create colourful uniform surfaces, it is more durable than other coverings as it is more resistant to the pressures of weather (rain, temperature differences, exposure to the sun) and pollution.
The colour tones which a tiled façade can provide are incomparably richer: the glaze, with its shimmering and reflections, offers buildings unique variations of light. Designs and shapes mix and dance in patterns that endow façades with life. These properties of tiles enable the making of strong, robust and surprisingly beautiful surfaces.

At Viúva Lamego we are able to produce tiles with a deep shine and colour, whose presence can be felt, thanks to their unique glaze. These tiles, whether traditional or contemporary, are carefully handled by hand-painting masters. The experiences our teams can offer leads to new paths being explored in terms of the format, colour, finishing and technical bases.
