Miguel Saraiva

Miguel Saraiva was born on 15 November 1968 and completed his studies in Architecture at the Lusíada University of Lisbon in 1995.

In 1996 he founded the studio, now called Saraiva + Associados, which has been undergoing an accelerated expansion process, where he is a mentor and driver of this dynamism, personally involved in all projects as well as in the company's internationalisation processes. The studio recently celebrated its 27th anniversary, with a team of more than 120 architects working in several countries in Europe, America, Africa and Asia.

In addition to his intense activity, Miguel Saraiva was vice-president of the Southern Regional Section of the Order of Architects, in the triennium 1999-2001. Among other Awards and Honourable Mentions in the field of Architecture, he received several Awards for Best Architecture Atelier, Award for Personality of the Year in Architecture and Career Distinction Award.

Miguel Saraiva is often invited to participate as a speaker in lectures, master classes and symposia at Architecture faculties in several countries, as well as in workshops and debates on internationalisation.
